Misty Biros Art

Resonate with nature.

Originally from a rural farming town in Central Illinois, Misty Biros developed a reverence for nature. Days spent riding horses, camping, gardening, and caring for the animals on her parents’ farm created the cornerstone for her fine art and illustrations. Over the years, Biros’ work in supply chain management has led her to multiple locations within the US and abroad. During this time Biros founded an online art gallery consisting of a dynamic group of women artists from around the world working together to support the conservation of native wildlife and wildlife habitat. Today, Biros and her husband have recently settled in West Lafayette, Indiana where she is looking forward to setting up her home studio and updating their property with native plants that will support local wildlife for years to come.

To create her art, Biros spends hours observing and photographing her surroundings during her adventures at home and abroad. In her studio, she strives to tell their story through her watermedia paintings. Her technique conveys a sense of wildness and freedom that connects the viewer with the subject.

The artist’s works are included in private art collections, globally, and have been exhibited in both juried and open, group and solo shows. Over the years, Biros has been commissioned for book cover art, illustrations, business and residential murals, greeting cards, and pet portraits. The artist is a member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, Women in Watercolor, and a participating artist at Inspired Fire Art Gallery Lafayette, Indiana.
